One of the very first steps to making a change in your life is to take a little bit of time for yourself. During that time – whether it be 5 minutes or 5 hours – it’s important to do something different than you normally would. No facebook or twitter. The first step is coming up with a list of possibilities – activities you want to try, or feelings you want to explore. Write them down. Do Not Edit! Simply write down these ideas, however off-kilter, outlandish, or even pedestrian they may be. Who’s to say what is interesting to you? No one, except, of course, you!
